Boikhutso HIV Dialogue Sparks Hope, Honesty, and Change

On 17 July 2025, Boikhutso became a powerful gathering point for voices united under the theme: “Unmasking HIV: Truth, Transparency, and Transformation.” The dialogue brought together leading experts, healthcare workers, activists, and community members in a bold effort to confront the realities of HIV and Advanced HIV Disease in our communities.

Hosted by Lefika La Ka, the event created a safe and empowering space where personal stories, scientific insights, and practical solutions intersected. Panelists drawn from across disciplines shared their lived experiences, research findings, and innovative strategies for addressing the barriers still facing people living with HIV.

From breaking down stigma to discussing gaps in treatment and access to care, the dialogue highlighted a shared determination to move beyond silence and denial. Each conversation reaffirmed a collective belief: that transformation begins with truth — and transparency fuels progress.
